Towards a Gay Communism

Mario Mieli text exploring and critiquing ideas circulating within the Italian gay movement over 30 years ago with a focus on establishing an explicitly queer political struggle opposing capitalism. Mieli also critiques the Italian communist and leftist parties, sexual fascism and the denial of erotic fulfillment under capitalism and patriarchy, and the counterrevolutionary forces of femmephobia and internalized homophobia among gays.
